The Busch 5968 is an HO scale (1:87) set of Belgian-style railroad warning lights, comprising two warning flashers each fitted with two red LEDs and one yellow LED plus flasher circuitry. When a train approaches, the red lamps flash alternately; when the crossing is clear for road traffic, the yellow lamp flashes, faithfully reproducing the Belgian signaling sequence.
The warning system of item 5968 can be triggered manually by a switch, or automatically by a train using the Busch time switch with light barrier (No. 5961 together with special relay 6964) or a relay with changeover contact and track contacts. It brings authentic, animated crossing protection to any Belgian-themed HO layout.
