Build a rugged concrete vehicle hall for your HO scale layout with the Busch 9608 kit (Fahrzeughalle). Designed in prefabricated concrete-panel construction, it offers five vehicle bays with opening doors, a realistically reproduced corrugated-metal roof, and fine gutters and downpipes. Each bay has a clear opening 39 mm wide and 41 mm high, with an internal hall length of 91 mm, so it comfortably houses a variety of trucks and military vehicles.
Item 9608 is the ideal companion to the Busch barracks kit no. 9607 and reflects the standardized large-panel buildings that GDR border-troop companies were stationed in from the mid-1960s onward. Busch’s building models capture the concrete structure of the originals superbly. Assembly is straightforward: a stable slot-together substructure is clad with ready-cut, pre-colored parts, needing only a hobby knife and model cement (such as Busch 7592 or 7599) or all-purpose glue. The completed hall measures 280 x 112 mm and stands 71 mm tall, and it doubles well as a workshop, depot or fire-service garage.
