The Faller 180889 is the base plate basic set for the Faller Goldbeck modular building system in HO scale (1:87), establishing the ground floor and footprint of the Goldbeck industry hall (Faller 130890). The plates match the flooring used in the main building and lock the modular walls, columns, and roof onto a solid, correctly proportioned foundation for a modern (Epoch V) industrial structure.
Item 180889 is supplied unassembled as plastic building components and is rated an easy build, forming the starting platform onto which the rest of the Goldbeck system is erected. The set includes plates measuring 3-3/8 x 3 x 1/8 in. (85.5 x 75.5 x 3 mm), 2 pieces, plus a plate of 5-15/16 x 1-7/16 x 1/8 in. (151 x 36 x 3 mm). Glue is recommended for a flat, rigid assembly – Faller Expert glue (170492) or Super Expert glue (170490), both available in our store. Expand the footprint later with the base plate add-on set (180890) to enlarge your hall as needed.
