Preiser 16526 depicts resting Russian infantry riflemen of the Soviet Union during WWII in HO scale (1:87), an Era II (1920s-1945) subject that adds a quieter, human touch to Eastern Front scenes. Rather than combat poses, these figures show troops at rest, ideal for portraying a bivouac, a pause between actions, or soldiers relaxing behind the lines for a more storytelling-oriented diorama.
Item 16526 is supplied as a package of 10 unpainted plastic figures, cast in bare plastic so you can hand-paint Red Army uniforms, equipment, and weathering to suit your scene. The relaxed poses in 16526 complement the brand’s combat-oriented Soviet sets, letting you build varied, believable 1:87 vignettes that show both fighting and downtime.
