Add a relaxed break-time vignette to your railway with the Preiser 45006 G Scale German Railway Workers Having a Smoke. These figures capture rail workers pausing for a cigarette, the kind of candid, unhurried moment that makes a layout feel genuinely inhabited. Molded in Preiser’s large G scale (1:22.5), they carry enough detail and presence to reward close viewing on a large-scale or garden railway.
Like most Preiser figures, item 45006 arrives hand-painted and ready to place, requiring no assembly or painting. The natural, casual poses let you stage a believable rest break beside the track, at a depot, or outside a workers’ hut. Set them where a crew would take five and instantly bring a touch of everyday human character to your scene.
