Dive into the world of ancient bones and paleontology with the Smithsonian Dinosaur Fossils T-Rex Value Set — a dynamic activity kit that blends archaeology, science and display-worthy results. Included in the box are fossil-block materials, excavation tools (mallet, brush, dowel), and detailed assembly instructions to build your very own model T. rex skeleton, measuring over 10 inches long when complete.
Perfect for young explorers ages 8 and up, this value set encourages hands-on digging, critical thinking and observation as kids uncover “fossils,” piece them together, and learn about dinosaur anatomy, extinction and Earth’s history. Whether used at home or in a classroom, it makes a memorable STEM gift or science-project experience.
Once assembled, the T. rex model becomes a standout display piece — a conversation starting desk buddy or shelf centerpiece that inspires curiosity and sparks further learning about paleontology. The value bundle format ensures excellent kickoff value for collectors and science fans alike.
